Over €9 million grant funding allocated by Minister for Sport to local and community grassroots sports clubs across Cavan and Monaghan.
Indeed, the allocation of €9,091,083 in grant funding to support local and community grassroots sports clubs; across Cavan/Monaghan; has been strongly welcomed.
Moreover, nationwide, 1,996 grants announced, to a total value of €230m. This is for new and improved sports facilities and equipment throughout the country. This funding comes under the Community Sport Facilities Fund, formerly the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme.
