Moreover, the local hospital received the award from Age Friendly Ireland; who are charged with delivering the government's vision of an Age Friendly Ireland.
Furthermore, Monaghan has proudly been an Age Friendly County for over a decade. Since Monaghan County Council signed up to the programme in 2011.
