Senator O'Reilly raised the issue in the Seanad in recent days. Indeed, asking the question; does it take eight years to select a site for a local refuge.
She says the lengthy wait and delays for a refuge in Cavan and Monaghan sound like a zero approach towards tackling this appalling crime.
