Listen Back: Need to enact Legacy Framework. The Taoiseach has said he believes that there is a "sincere commitment" on behalf of the British Government; on the implementation of the Legacy Framework.
Furthermore, local TD Brendan Smith asked the Taoiseach about the framework in the Dáil this week. Deputy Smith outlined that there is an urgent need to enact legacy legislation; thus giving effect to the provisions outlined in the framework.
He told Maitiú Monaghan that there has been progress in relation to legacy issues.
