Serious questions remain over Shane O'Farrell's death - Deputy Matt Carthy. A vote on a motion; brought by Sinn Fein; came before the Dail on Wednesday night surrounding the death of Shane O Farrell. The motion is to hold a public inquiry.
Although the motion passed, it will not be enacted. This means no independent public inquiry will be established.

Moreover, both he and Deputy Pauline Tully, who are local TD's, voted Yes. The other 3 local TD's decided to abstain from voting.
Deputy Carthy joined Ronan Gargan on the Wider View; to discuss the serious questions that remain over Shane O'Farrell's death.
