Nominations open for Monaghan's 'Person of the Year', The Farney Foundation will present for the very first time the "Co Monaghan People of the Year Awards 2024" next month. Moreover, Brian Rudden, a local man, founded The Farney Foundation. Furthermore, the Farney Foundation is a non-profit entity. The Foundation promotes and supports anyone and anything associated with County Monaghan all over the world.
Nominations can come from anyone with a connection to County Monaghan. Indeed, they can be nominated for their achievements; contribution to society; or for obstacles they have overcome. Whatever makes them a Monaghan person to be proud of. Jodie Curran spoke with Brian Rudden. She began by asking him to explain more about Monaghan's Person of the Year and how it all came about:
