Over 2,500 Covid tests have been carried out in Cavan and Monaghan over the past two weeks but up to 11 per cent of people aren't turning up for their appointments.
Figures released by the HSE show 11.3 per cent of people booked for a Covid test in Cavan did not show up.
The figure in Monaghan is slightly lower at 10.3 per cent.

However, Leitrim had a rate more than twice as high as the local counties with over a quarter of people not attending their appointments.
The number of tests carried out locally has fallen over the last two weeks.
1,117 were carried out in the week up to January 31st which is over 300 fewer than the previous week.
