There are currently 14 patients waiting for beds in Cavan General Hospital.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
Nationally, 548 admitted patients are waiting for beds in the country's hospitals today.

355 people are waiting in the emergency department, while 193 are waiting elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Limerick has the highest number waiting at 111, followed by University Hospital Galway on 40.
