1,404 new cases of Covid-19 have been announced across the island of Ireland today.
Northern Ireland has recorded twice as many Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours as ever before.
There are 934 new infections - compared to Wednesday's previous record high of 424.
20 per cent of all the North's cases have been recorded in the past week.
Meanwhile, in the Republic of Ireland there were 470 new cases and one more death.
Nine of the cases were in Cavan, while a figure wasn't given for Monaghan.
