20-year-old road victim named locally

The incident took place on Wednesday evening.

A 20-year-old pedestrian who tragically died in Co Fermanagh has been named locally. Niamh King of Newtownbutler and formerly of Killashandra in Co Cavan died following a collision on the on the Belfast Road, Lisbellaw on Wednesday evening at around 5.50pm. A 25-year-old man who arrested following the fatal collision has been released on police bail to allow for further enquiries to take place.

Investigations are ongoing at this time. Meanwhile, police in Co Fermanagh are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured dash-cam or other footage in the area at the time to please get in touch.
