39 people have died on the roads in the first 65 days of the year.
16 drivers, 13 passengers, 7 pedestrians, 2 motorcyclists and 1 cyclist have been killed.
The latest fatality was a man in his 20s after a crash in Louth yesterday afternoon. Gardaí and road safety groups are urging motorists to slow down and drive with care.
