A hazardous waste drop-off day is taking place in Co Cavan today as part of the Local Authority's anti-dumping initiative.
Waste including household paints, pesticides, waste oils, auto batteries and medicinal waste will be accepted at the Corranure Civic Amenity Centre today until 12.30pm.
The service is for domestic households only, and not for commercial use.

A disposal fee of five euro per vehicle and trailer will apply and normal charges apply for all other waste items presented.
