Today is Cavan Day- a celebration of the county, it's people, history and culture.
A live programme of events is taking place on the County Council youtube channel at 8pm Irish time tonight so that Cavan natives all over the globe can join in an be proud of their home county.
Golf superstar Leona Maguire, DJ Shane Codd, Chef Neven Maguire, Paralympian Britney Arendse, ‘Fair City’ and ‘The Snapper’ star Tina Kelleher, Comedian Kevin McGahern, and US Tennis star and CNN commentator Patrick McEnroe among taking part in the event.
