Celebrations are continuing locally to mark Africa Day which is taking place on May 25th.
A series of vibrant events to recognise the day has taken place locally to date.
This year's Africa Day Cavan is taking place at Cavan Rugby Club this afternoon from 2pm-6pm.

According to organisers, the Cavan event will be a vibrant celebration of African culture featuring traditional music, dance performances, authentic cuisine, art exhibitions, and engaging activities for all ages.
Stanley Nwaneri, Chairperson of the 4Cs, Cavan Cross Cultural Community, says it's a wonderful event that brings people from all cultural backgrounds together.
