The final four seats in the Monaghan LEA have now been filled.
Seán Conlon (SF) was elected by exceeding the quota on the seventh count with 1,218 votes.
The returning officer also declared Pauric Clerkin (FG), David Maxwell (FG) and Bronagh McAree (SF) elected despite them not exceeding the quota.

All seven seats in the Monaghan LEA have now been filled. Whereas, Clerkin, Maxwell and McAree join Cathy Bennett (SF), Raymond Aughey (FF), Seamus Treanor (IND) on Monaghan county council.
