A big reunion for those who attended St Thresa's National School in Ballyjamesduff is planned for next month. The committee is giving a big shout out to all those who attended the school and is inviting past pupils from across the globe to join in the celebration.
It will take place in The Royal Bar in Ballyjamesduff on the 18th of March, starting around 7pm with music and finger food. Speaking to Northern Sound, one of the organisers, John O'Driscoll said the event is open to everyone.
He continued; "My own attendance there was in the mid-70's, so we're arranging a get together and any other memorable such as old photos would be great to bring on the night. We're not restricting it to any particular set of year groups, if you went there and you'd like to come, you're more than welcome. It's an event to re-fresh those old networks and to share old memories, both good and bad.
