Almost 5,000 more Cavan homes have fast broadband

Open eir has announced that an additional 4,961 homes and businesses across Cavan can access gigabit fibre since December 2022.

That's according to new data from its fibre-to-the-home broadband roll-out programme. The fibre build project has already delivered fibre access in Cavan to 18,440 homes and businesses.

Following investment of over €13 million into the Cavan network alone, the network will serve over 26,000 premises across the county.
