The Archbishop said "unjust evil" cannot be "permitted to have the last word".

Archbishop Eamon Martin has appealed for information on Columba McVeigh and the Disappeared.

In a Mass for the Disappeared, the Archbishop called on any who "has even the slightest of clues" to come forward and shorten the "agonising wait" of their families.

Columba McVeigh is one of 19 known cases of individuals who were abducted, murdered, and secretly buried during the Troubles.

Columba was secretly buried in 1975, and there have been five searches of Bragan Bog since 1999 for his body.

Archbishop Eamon Martin said all who gathered at the annual Mass for the Disappeared were "united by the shared experience of loss, unanswered questions and unresolved pain".

He added that "unjust evil" cannot be "permitted to have the last word".
