A Christmas Art Exhibition and Raffle for SOSAD will take place this weekend. The exhibition, featuring the works of both professional and amateur artists, will be held in Emy Lakehouse on Saturday, November 30th, from 7-9pm and on Sunday, December 1st, from 12 noon - 8pm. Entitled "Drawn Together" it will display an amazing collection of over 100 pictures to suit all tastes, interests and price ranges.
This will be the largest collaboration of artists anyone has ever seen in Co Monaghan. Local woman Mary Flynn will be volunteering at the event which will also feature her husband Neilus Flynn's artwork. Speaking to Northern Sound, Mary says this is is a great opportunity to "bring art to the people" whilst also supporting a very worthy cause like SOSAD.
