The Artistic Director of the Garage Theatre in Monaghan is hopeful that live performances could return in September.
The Garage Theatre has been closed since March of last year due to the pandemic and Eileen Costello says the theatre is "just trying to tick over".
Monaghan Youth Theatre has been continuing in an online setting and the Garage Theatre has been hosting events on Thursday nights on Facebook to keep people engaged.

Eileen also said this year will be about "supporting artists" and added that the Garage Theatre is seeking funding for professional artists and musicians.
