Bailieboro Garda issues advice for Bank Holiday weekend

The most dangerous period for collisions on our roads during a bank holiday weekend is between 3pm and 6pm.

Garda Lisa Stevens of Bailieboro Garda Station is appealing for road users to be extra careful when out and about this bank holiday weekend.
Garda Stevens is asking local road users to make a conscious decision to take care on the roads.
Whether you're a walker, cyclist, scooter user or a driver, Garda Stevens says we all have a part to play in ensuring overall safety.

According to Gardai, bank holiday weekends are the busiest periods on Irish roads, and there's a higher risk of being involved in a serious or deadly road traffic collision with more road users on the move.
