The Ballybay Rd in Carrickmacross is currently closed due to a road collision.

Emergency services are currently at the scene at Killarue close to Carrickmacross.

Gardai say the road is expected to be closed for a number of hours.

Diversions are currently in place and motorists are being asked to avoid the area at present.
