Ballybay Road closed in Monaghan due to ongoing incident

Gardai in Monaghan say the Ballybay Rd in Monaghan Town is currently closed due to an ongoing incident.

Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the Ballybay Road in Monaghan, Co Monaghan at approximately 3:40pm today,

Diversions are in place and it’s expected that the road is to remain closed for the next few hours.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area at present.
