The rate more than doubled over the past week to 1,488.

Ratoath in Meath also has a rate of more than 1,000 and has seen an increase of over 220 percent in the last seven days.

Cavan-Belturbet has a rate of 774.3, while Bailieborough-Cootehill's rate at 479.2.

The Carrickmacross-Castleblayney MD has the lowest 14 day rate in Monaghan at 307.9.

In Ballybay-Clones it stands at 318, and the north Monaghan LEA rate is 392.2.
