A West Cavan publican says the new 'Pubs as Community Hubs' initiative will help those who are fearful of socialising since the outbreak of Covid to transition safely back into the community again.

The Keepers Arms in Bawnboy is one of five pubs across the country that is part of the initial roll out which was launched last week by local Minister Heather Humphreys.
