The Bishop of Clogher, Bishop Larry Duffy, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his Ordination as a Priest later today.
The Golden Jubilee will be marked with a Mass of Thanksgiving at St Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan at 3pm.
Bishop Duffy himself will be the Chef Celebrant of the Mass, at which he will be joined by family members and friends as well as clergy, religious and lay faithful from across the diocese and beyond.
Born in November 1951, Bishop Duffy is a native of Magheracloone, Co Monaghan.
Pope Francis appointed him to be Bishop of Clogher in December 2018 and he assumed the role at his Ordination as Bishop on 10 February 2019.
