The man aged in his 30s who was arrested in connection with the investigation surrounding the death of a man in Co Leitrim has been charged.
He is due to appear before a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court at 9:00pm tonight.
The man who died in an incident in county Leitrim is understood to be from eastern Europe.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to a house at the townland of Arderry, close to Carrigallen shortly after 9 o'clock on Thursday night, where a man in his 40s was found unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
