Blayney Blades launch new exhibition in Castleblayney

Members of the popular WCI Blayney Blades group this week launched the 'Peace Heroines Exhibition' at the Iontas Theatre in Castleblayney.

This exhibition has been showcased right across the globe since it was launched by the Northern Ireland Assembly at Stormont back in September 2022. The exhibition tells the inspirational story of the pivotal role that women played in the Northern Ireland Peace Process. This Monday, WCI Blayney Blades will celebrate International Women's Day by opening the exhibition. The exhibition will be open to the public until Friday the 15th of March.
