Book of Condolence will open at Cavan Court House at 2pm today

A book of Condolence will open at Cavan Court House at 2pm today to remember the 10 people who died in Cresslough on Friday.

The National Flag at the Courthouse will also fly at half mast as a mark of respect.

Border Communities Against Brexit has expressed its deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who died.

Describing the incident as "an awful tragedy", Tom Murray from Donegal said the thoughts and and prayers of everyone were with the people of Creeslough.

Mr Murray also paid tribute to the emergency services across the Island of Ireland, which, he added "acted with heroism and outstanding effort".
