All 2,000 free tickets made available for the Boomtown Rats gig in Cavan in July were gone by 2:30pm today. Cavan County Council confirmed to Northern Sound this afternoon that all tickets are gone and the much anticipated Cavan Calling gig will be a sell-out show.
Eddie Cruiser and the Savage Hearts will provide support on the day after being hand picked by Pete Briquette when he heard the band’s demo. Meanwhile, the Cavan Calling homecoming festival takes place from the 27th to the 30th of July.
It will be a celebration of the county, its people, culture, history, and landscape.
