Monaghan rubgy star and TV personality, Tommy Bowe, has encouraged those suffering with their mental health to come forward and speak to someone they trust.
Speaking at the annual launch of the Darkness into Light event which took place at the Monaghan Harps GAA club on Thursday night, the Emyvale native says he is aware of the many pressures facing young people.
Organisers and volunteers across the country will come together for the first time in two years for the popular sunrise walk, which will take place next month on May 7th.

The Monaghan man praised the work of Pieta House and believes it's more important now than ever before to break the stigma around mental health and offer support to those who need it most.
