CAB seizure in Cavan linked to Drogheda crime group

The Criminal Assets Bureau carried out an operation in Co. Cavan aimed at disrupting the activities of an organised crime group in Drogheda.

CAB searched several locations in Cavan yesterday morning.

Cash, Rolex watches and designer goods were seized while a bank account with €115,000 was frozen. Just under 4500 euro in cash, as well as documentation and devices were also seized. CAB officers have confirmed the target of yesterday's operation was a gang involved in the sale and supply of drugs in the Drogheda area.
