Cabra Castle has been named one of Ireland's top castle wedding venues.
Online wedding platform SaveMyDay.ie has included the Cavan venue in its list of spectacular castles that caters for all types of ceremonies, given that it has a Civil Ceremony licence.
Cabra Castle says there has been increased demand for "less traditional weddings" and that civil ceremonies now make up half of all wedding enquiries.

It recently received planning permission to develop a civil ceremony space, which the hotel says will enable it "to trade as a premium wedding venue, offering a full range of services to prospective couples".
