The owner of two Shetland ponies and a donkey wandering a road near Castleblayney today are asked to contact Gardaí. The animals were on the road at Ard Kirk in Castleblayney early this morning.
Officers herded the two ponies and donkey into a field at the rear of the property they were found grazing.
The landowner has given permission for the three animals to remain there for the safety of the stray animals and other road users. However, if the three animals belong to you, Gardaí ask that you contact them at Castleblayney.
