A local councillor has raised a safety issue surrounding outside of Knocktemple National School.
Cllr Shane P O'Reilly said it's extremely dangerous outside the school due to the extra volume of vehicles using that route to avoid the N3.
The local councillor brought the issue to the fore at the most recent sitting of Ballyjamesduff Municipal District meeting.

Cllr O'Reilly said the issue was worsened by the amount of motorists avoiding Virginia. He called on Cavan County Council to erect bollards outside the rural school to help with the current situation.
