Carrickmacross gardaí appealing for information following recent Eir cable theft

Gardaí in Carrickmacross are again appealing for information regarding the theft of Eir cable.

There have been a spate of Eir cable thefts in recent months and the latest incident occurred on the Killanny Road out of Carrickmacross, in the townland of Monaltyduff.

The culprits are stripping the cables for its valuable copper.

Gardaí believe the theft occurred sometime last week and would have taken the culprits "quite some time".

They're appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, or who has dashcam footage, to make contact with Carrickmacross Garda Station.
