An update on the Carrickmacross Swimming Pool Project was given at the most recent meeting of Monaghan County Council.
Cllr Colm Carthy put the question forward, asking when it's expected a design team will be selected and what timescale is envisaged for them to bring design proposals to the Council.
In reply the council said Stage 1 tender documentation for the appointment of Design Consultants was advertised on the eTender platform on February 10th.

A total of eight tender submissions were received.
The evaluation process is currently ongoing and it's expected that Stage 2 of the procurement process will be advertised in early May.
