Caution required following oil spillage in Carrickmacross area

Oil spillage Carrickmacross: Local Gardai are appealing to motorists to be cautious if travelling in the Carrickmacross area.

It’s understood the Kingscourt Rd is worst effected by the spillage along with parts of the Ardee Rd in the Town. Monaghan County Council have been notified.

There has been a collision on the Kingscourt Rd about 1km outside of the town in the past 20 mins. Caution is required around that area at this time.
