A Cavan based matchmaker says people shouldn't worry about dating or matchmaking.
Una Maguire was reacting to a letter from a man searching for a life partner after his marriage ended 12 years ago.
In a letter written to the Joe Finnegan show, 48 year old John outlined his efforts of attending nightclubs, dance halls and other outlets to meet a partner.

In his note he said that dating agencies or online dating is not an option for him.
In her advice Una said effort has to be made and there are social outings available.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show, she said people shouldn't feel a stigma around dating.
