A Cavan care facility has been praised as a place where residents are engaged and consulted about the care they receive.
Cavan Praxis Care is home to four individuals with intellectual difficulties.
It was subject to a short notice announced HIQA inspection in June of this year.

The centre was compliant in all but one area, and was deemed "substantially compliant" when it came to record keeping.
The provider has since committed to ensuring there it a "robust collation of all information regarding each individual service user".
The inspector found that residents received appropriate care and support, were supported to engage in activities of their choosing, and that staff supported residents in a way that promoted their views and rights.
