A leading Cavan chicken producer says its new brand will stand to benefit local farmers.
Recently launched "Sicín Sasta", which is Irish for "Happy Chicken", is a new brand under the Carton Brothers umbrella.
It promises to put sustainability and animal welfare at its core, and its chickens are fed with 70% wholegrains that are sourced from local farmers.
