A Co Cavan councillor has highlighted the need for young people who are addicted to flavoured vapes to access the correct help.
Cllr Brendan Fay has been a long-standing advocate for banning single use vapes throughout the island of Ireland.
This week it was confirmed that a Bill to ban single-use vapes has passed all stages of the Oireachtas.
It means flavoured vapes will be banned, and vapes will be limited to tobacco options only.
The sale of nicotine consumption products, like snus pouches, will also be prohibited to under-18s.
