Cavan firearm holders reminded to renew licenses

Gardai in Cavan are reminding all firearm license holders to ensure that they have submitted their renewal form.

If it has been mislaid and a re-print needed, people are being asked to contact their local Garda Station as An Garda Síochána is the licensing authority for firearms.

Those over 14 years of age can apply for a training certificate.

For those under 14 years, the application must be accompanied by a written consent from the applicant's parent or guardian.
