Cavan General Hospital are advising people across the Shannonside Northern Sound region that the hospital is currently experiencing high levels of activity with patients in the emergency department of the building.

General Manager of the hospital, David Lynch is advising if all patients could contact their GP for all non-urgent matters.

The hospital situation is being reviewed continuously and everyone's co-operation is appreciated during this busy time.
