Gardai say that in recent days they have received "numerous reports" from local residents regarding cold callers doing the rounds
They are offering to paint sheds and power wash, however they also appear to be targeting those who are vulnerable or live alone.

Gardai are advising everyone not to engage with cold callers and to employ only those whom they trust.
They are also advising homeowners not to keep large amounts of cash in the house and to report suspicious activity to their local Garda Station.
