A Co Cavan teenager has won a prestigious Special Achievement Award at the recent Garda Youth Awards.
Mullagh native Abi-Rose Kavanagh was a winner of the Cavan Monaghan Division.
Special Achievement Awards are issued to those who have overcome difficult circumstances, defied all the odds, and whose commitment deserves recognition.

She has been nominated to go forward to the nationals by the Cavan/Monaghan Garda Youth Awards committee.
