A Cavan woman will feature across national TV screens as part of RTÉ's First Dates Ireland show. 22-year old hairdresser Chloe Martin who hails from Canningstown took part in the show after a friend sent her the application. Speaking to Northern Sound, the 22-year-old descried herself as a "spontaneous person" adding that confidence was no issue when applying for the popular dating show.
Following her recent experience, the Cavan hairdresser is now encouraging others to get involved and apply for the show. Chloe who described the overall experience as "unreal" said she "looks forward" to watching the final piece when it airs on national television in the coming weeks.
"I'm a spontaneous person so I just went for it.," explained Chloe. "I went into it with no expectations, I thought to myself if something comes from it - nice, if it doesn't then that's ok too and I think that mindset really helped me. I was way more calm than I thought I'd be. I enjoyed the whole experience. You have to do walk in and walk out shots and you are in this room meeting all the other contestants and meeting new people. Just the experience itself was unreal and I would recommend people do it, it is so much fun."
