A county Cavan woman who died earlier this year has been remembered this week by her former workplace.
Leah Farrelly from Virginia passed away in her sleep on April 15th.
Supermac’s Park Ri in Kells wanted to pay tribute to Leah who worked part time in the Kells fast food restaurant.
A tree called Leah’s tree was unveiled over the weekend along with a plague in her memory.
The tree will grow up to 40 feet in height and the stately coniferous tree will be lit up every Christmas in memory of Leah.
Her family and friends came together for the unveiling of the plaque at Leah’s Tree on Saturday last.
