A charity Santa Run is being held this weekend to raise money to restore the Sensory Garden in Ballyjamesduff following extensive vandalism in recent weeks.

The Cavan Autism Parent's Support Group had planned to officially open their new garden before Christmas but on Tuesday the 10th of November were informed significant damage had been done by vandals.

The CAPS Sensory Garden was developed following a grant under the Clár 2019 programme and Cavan County Council and was to be used by people from disability organisations across the region, but was also for the wider community.
