A 10 per cent rise in minimum hourly rates of pay for childcare workers is being welcomed.
However, the Federation of Early Childhood Providers says it should have been signed off on much earlier.
Around 23,000 Early Years Educators and School-Age Childcare Practitioners are set to benefit from the pay hike.
